1803 Draped Bust Large Cent - Small Date, Large Fraction.

This is a solid example for the type!

Good obverse color and details, especially details in the hair. Centered scratch exposing new copper color, probably from a staple. Evidence of corrosion pitting, probably had an older conservation to the obverse. EAC XF Scudzy

Reverse has a darker look to it, with hints of red (not copper, probably oxidation). Does not appear to be active, not green disease. The reverse appears to not have shared the same conservation process as the obverse. Thru the surface, there are solid details remaining, with the exception of the fraction, which has suffered the most.  EAC F-VF Scudzy
